The tug Eppleton Hall at north side of North Dock The last paddle tug built on the Tyne in 1914 came to Seaham from the Wear in 1964, consigned to Tyne breakers yard in 1967. Rebuilt in 1969 she sailed 11,000 miles across the Atlantic, through the Panama Canal and up the west coast of America to the San Francisco Maritime Museum
